Lagos State governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Mr Babajide Sanwoolu has commended Nigerians for prioritising the country’s progress by voting for President Muhammadu Buhari.
In a statement, Sanwo-Olu’s Director of Media and Publicity, Sesan Daini said: “The masses have given the ruling party APC another chance to take Nigeria further to its desirable status in the comity of nations based on trust and we acknowledge that this victory actually belongs to Nigerians, and not just President Buhari as an individual.”
While congratulating President Buhari and other elected candidates under the APC, Sanwo-Olu urged Lagosians to complement their sacrifices by repeating same at the forthcoming gubernatorial and state assembly elections by voting him as the next governor of Lagos State and all candidates of APC for State Assembly to enable them to have a harmonious legislative-executive relationship in the government.
“We call on Lagosians to bear in mind that development is easier and faster when there is synergy between federal and state governments under the same party; and as such, imploring Lagosians to come out again en masse this time around to give APC landslide victory that would take Lagos State to a greater height.”
